DCVB Selects Richards to Sell Dallas

DALLAS The Richards Group has picked up advertising duties for the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, the client said.

The independent Dallas shop won the local account following a review that involved six undisclosed agencies. The DCVB previously worked on a project basis with Dallas-based Group Baronet.

Richards has been charged with selling the city of Dallas as the preferred site for meetings, conventions and tourism. Collaborative efforts between the shop and the DCVB will include developing a new image campaign, concentrating on consumer, trade and international media, public relations projects and the development of supporting collateral pieces.
