Walt Disney Internet Group's Disney Online has named Brad Davis vice president of its online advertising sales unit. A 20-year ad sales veteran, Davis will provide strategic direction for the sales team and lead all network media sales' efforts for sites including Disney.com, FamilyFun.com and Movies.com. Davis previously served as director of sales at Comcast Spotlight, Washington, D.C., the ad sales division of Comcast Cable. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade in Web advertising at Merica Online, holding management positions including vice president of sales and product training and vice presiden of local sales and marketing development. Davis, who will be based in North Hollywood, Calif., is also actively involved in industry organizations such as IAB and iMedia.
