Gary Singer has resigned as managing director of D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles’ St. Louis office, which has failed to win any significant new business for the past several years.
Lance Smith, D’Arcy’s New York-based president of the St. Louis office, said a search for Singer’s replacement has begun and that the agency “remains committed to that office.”
Speculation on D’Arcy’s status in St. Louis has been ongoing since its longtime anchor client, Anheuser-Busch, pulled its account in late 1994.
