PentaMark executive producer John Van Osdol has joined D’Arcy Detroit as senior vice president, director of broadcast production.

The move reunites Van Osdol with Gary Topolewski, who recently joined D’Arcy as executive vice president, chief creative officer. The two had previously worked together at FCB in Detroit.

“He’s a hands-on leader who is able to take great ideas and make them even better on film,” Topolewski said in a statement.

Van Osdol replaces Claire Bernacki, who remains with the agency in a yet-to-be determined role, according to agency officials.

Van Osdol’s first task will be to help with “pivotal creative initiatives” for Cadillac and Pontiac, Topolewski said.
