DETROIT The agency formerly known as D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles has adopted Chemistri as a new name as part of its alignment with Leo Burnett under the Publicis Groupe.

The Troy, Mich., agency is solely dedicated to one client: General Motors.

The new unit will include Detroit’s Patrick Sherwood, president and regional chief executive officer of D’Arcy North America, who becomes president and chief executive officer of the new agency, and creative chief Gary Topolewski, who becomes global chief creative officer of Chemistri, reporting to Sherwood.
