CHICAGO-BBDO Minneapolis picked up Dain Rauscher's $2-3 million advertising account after a limited review, officials said.
Dain, a Minneapolis-based securities firm, moved its account from Bozell Kamstra, also in Minneapolis. The agency had handled the account for just over a year, and did defend it when it went into review. Other competitors for the business were not disclosed.
BBDO will produce consumer, trade and direct advertising for the company, said Peter Furseth, Dain's senior vice president and director of marketing. The agency's first work is expected to break in midsummer.
"We've gone through a lot of change at the company over the past few years and are looking to re-establish our brand," Furseth said.
