Rock stars: why do we like tiny versions of them so much? An award-winning U.K. campaign for the Observer Music Monthly that broke last year, called "From Abba to Zappa," featured an alphabet of tiny illustrated bands. In addition to the bands in the title, the alphabet included The White Stripes and Led Zeppelin. The art-ists were unidentified save for the letter their band name starts with. Yahoo! now is introducing its Music Unlimited service with a campaign by OgilvyOne in San Francisco and Craig Robinson, the same artist who did the Observer campaign, featuring tiny, pixelated pop stars including Green Day, Missy Elliott, Big & Rich and Ciara. "We were searching for something iconic and ownable," says OgilvyOne ecd Arthur Ceria.
