Creditcards.com is looking for its first ad agency.
The online merchant processing company has enlisted search consultancy Select Resources International in Los Angeles. It wants an agency to develop a brand positioning to drive small-business owners to its Web site.
Briefs were mailed last week, and responses are due before Christmas. The budget is undisclosed, but estimated at $8-10 million.
The client wants a shop preferably in California, with business-to-business Internet experience.
Creditcards.com, Los Angeles, previously known as Electronic Card Services, was founded by RjGordon and Cos. in 1992 to service merchant demand for processing non-face-to-face transactions.
