It looks like a page out of Vogue: Hip, beautiful young people exuding sexiness and style in the shadows of Italian columns and arcades. Their fashion accessory of choice is a Ducati motorcycle. It’s not advertising you’d expect to find in gearhead magazines, which is precisely the point. “Most cycle ads use abstract action shots with anonymous riders and lots of color,” says David Gross, Ducati’s director of strategic planning. “We went in the opposite direction with our black-and-white photography.”
