ATLANTA Four Volkswagen spots for the redesigned GTI model that launched Feb. 10 during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics urge people to “Make friends with your fast,” a tagline that replaces the decade-old “Drivers wanted.”

The TV salvo is the automaker’s first work from MDC Partners’ Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the Miami shop that added the $400 million account at the close of 2005 without a review from Havas’ Arnold in Boston.

Arnold’s work had been idiosyncratic, but largely understated.
