Coyne Beahm Shows Benefits of United Way

ATLANTA Coyne Beahm's first work for the United Way of Forsyth County (N.C.) focuses upon motivating donors and raising awareness of the community service provided by the charity, a source said.

The Greensboro, N.C., shop's pro bono campaign launches tomorrow and includes a 30-second television spot, a four-minute corporate video as well as radio and print efforts. The work, tagged "Nothing is impossible," will run through November on regional radio stations and in daily and weekly newspapers, according to a source.

"We developed a totally integrated campaign for the United Way that will boost donations while helping them to establish a brand," said agency president and CEO Roger Beahm. "Our goal is to give people a better idea of how the charity helps everyone who needs it."

Coyne Beahm creative director Linda Darnall has created posters and banners with a newly designed logo that will hang from lampposts in Winston-Salem, N.C., one source said. Brochures in English and Spanish and business cards have been designed for United Way of Forsyth County officials.

According to Darnall, the concept for the logo and brochure design came from "wanting to convey a message that today you may be a giver, but tomorrow you may be a recipient." She added that her goal was to show how donations are used to help beneficiaries so donors know that "even $50 per year makes a difference."
