NEW YORK — Cordiant Communications Group finance director Art D’Angelo will leave his post to take the vacant CFO job at McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, IPG confirmed Tuesday.

D’Angelo fills the post previously held by Sal LaGreca, who made an abrupt exit last month in the wake of accounting errors at the New York-based company. Its parent, Interpublic Group, recently disclosed an accounting imbalance of $181.3 million, the bulk of which stems from the European offices of McCann.
