ATLANTA – The director of advertising and communications for Cooper Tires’ $5-6 million advertising account has confirmed that a cut from 10 agencies has been made, but would not confirm reports of which shops remain.
The final contenders are believed to be Harris Drury Cohen, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Bozell, Southfield, Mich.; Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago; and Fahlgren, Dublin, Ohio.
Those agencies all acknowledged that they had been contacted by the Findlay, Ohio-based client, but were told not to communicate with the press and declined further comment.
