Cooper & Hayes Adds Rampage

Cooper & Hayes has acquired e-commerce agency Rampage Interactive.

“We’d been looking to make an acquisition in the interactive area for more than a year,” said Ric Cooper, president and chief executive officer of C&H in Coral Gables, Fla. “I feel strongly, despite the shakeout, they’re the wave of the future.”

Terms of the deal were notdisclosed.

Formerly a part of HMS Partners, C&H has been on a roll since Cooper split the agency from the Columbus, Ohio-based parent in January 1998.

Troy Hayes, a former associate creative director at DDB in Chicago signed on as partner and executive creative director.
