NEW YORK – AT&T vp/corporate marketing Dick Martin said the direct-marketing units of the five agencies that pitched its consumer long-distance account also will get to pitch its $200 million consumer direct-marketing business next year (ADWEEK, Nov. 22). Those agencies are Ayer, FCB/Leber Katz Partners, McCann-Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather and Young & Rubicam, all New York. AT&T hasn’t decided yet if direct agencies that only have business-to -business billings will be allowed into the consumer direct pitch.
