Conover Tuttle has hired Mike Cullity to help the agency build a golf division.

The Lynnfield, Mass., shop is looking to capitalize on its sports-marketing specialty to expand in a niche that has remained strong despite the general economic downturn, according to agency executive vp Chip Tuttle.

Cullity, whose agency title is director, arrives from Golf World Business, a trade magazine in Trumbull, Conn., where he served as an editor.

Roughly half of the 15-person shop’s business comes from sports-related clients.
