Conn. Sports Complex Finds Its Voice

BOSTON The Voice said it has redesigned the Web site of SportsCenter of Connecticut, an 11-acre recreational facility in Shelton that overlooks the Housatonic River.

Additional interactive efforts are upcoming for SportsCenter, which annually serves about 1.5 million patrons and houses two National Hockey League regulation-size skating rinks, as well as a golf-driving range and batting cages. Several professional teams, including the NHL's New York Islanders and the minor league Bridgeport Sound Tigers, play exhibition games at the facility.

Work from The Voice, including the site, www.sportscenterct.com, employs the tagline "All the good sports are here."

The assignment is important for the independent agency in Bridgeport, Conn., because it serves as "recognition of The Voice's sports and entertainment marketing capabilities," said shop creative director Matthew Hallock.

The agency also works for the Bridgeport Bluefish, Computer Associates, the Fairfield University athletic department, Lego and regional theaters.
