Concrete Inc., a New York-based i-shop founded in 1996, dismissed 40 of its remaining staffers Tuesday and left 15 on board to finish current projects and handle network management as the owners consider plans to sell assets.

Jack Davis, chief administrative officer and corporate counsel, said employees were notified of the layoffs on Tuesday, and the company is seeking firms to assist in selling assets.

“We are winding up the consulting part of the business, the professional services and application building,” said Davis.
