NEW YORK At least two agencies are competing for ConAgra’s Orville Redenbacher advertising account, sources said.

Interpublic Group’s Deutsch and MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, both in New York, made final presentations last week and await a decision from the Edina, Minn.-based client. Fogarty Klein Monroe in Houston, which had been handling project work on the brand, was cut in a previous round, sources said.

Last year, ConAgra spent about $10 million on advertising the brand and nearly twice that in 2003, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
