NECX, a leading reseller of computers and related equipment, has tapped Partners & Simons here to handle corporate advertising after a review of undisclosed agencies. Freeman Associates in Wellesley, Mass., will handle media duties.
Billings are in the seven-figure range, said Partners & Simons principal Gib Trub. The Peabody, Mass.-based company previously handled advertising chores in-house.
In addition to creating a new logo for NECX, which stands for New England Computer Exchange, Partners & Simons will develop print and direct mail executions, collateral materials and Web banners. Print ads targeting corporate buyers will break this spring in computer trade publications, including PC Week and PC News, among others, Trub said.
