Community Coffee, the nation’s largest family-owned retail coffee brand, is sending out requests for proposals this week for its creative account.

Client vice president of marketing Mike Dabadie, who joined the firm in May, could not be reached by press time last week. But the incumbent shop, The Richards Group in Dallas, confirmed the account for the Baton Rouge, La.-based brand’s broadcast, print and outdoor advertising is going into review for the first time in 13 years.

The account is estimated at$4-5 million.

Agencies in the Southwest and Southeast are expected to be contacted to handle branding for both the coffee and the company’s retail chain, CC’s Coffee Houses.

The Richards Group has handled the account since 1988.
