An ad created by TDA Advertising & Design got an unexpected amount of national attention when it appeared in a Tonight Show skit last week.
The ad (shown here) showed a toothbrush with the phrase “Ray’s Second Hand Toiletries.” Host Jay Leno showed the ad as part of his “Headlines” segment.
The TDA ad was actually meant to reach advertisers for the publication The Boulder Planet, a weekly newspaper and a new client of TDA, also in Boulder.
“A reader must have sent it to Leno,” said creative director Jonathan Schoenberg.
