NEW YORK–Coca-Cola said it will air its Cal Ripken Jr. national TV ad Saturday but without the “Life tastes good” tag. Several ads were pulled or delayed by the soda giant in the wake of last week’s tragic events, including the Ripken spot. “We just didn’t feel it was appropriate,” said a company spokesman.

The Ripken ad for Coke Classic, from McCann-Erickson, N.Y., will be the first new spot from Coke since the events of Sept.
