Melanie Cody has joined WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam Brands as manager of people in Chicago. She will be responsible for recruitment, retention, training and development for both advertising agency Y&R and below-the-line shop Wunderman. Cody had been a senior recruiter with search firm Amy Burack in Chicago. She also has worked at Euro RSCG Tatham in Chicago supervising Procter & Gamble’s Mr. Clean and Biz accounts. Cody will report to Janie Libles, director of people for Y&R Brands.
