NEW YORK Following an eight-year hiatus, the Clio Awards are returning to television next year, a Clio representative said today.

The Clios have partnered with Dick Clark Productions to create the show, along with A Wink And A Nod Productions producer Wendy Winks. It will be aired on a network to be announced later.

The awards show has not been broadcast since VNU, parent company of Adweek, bought the organization in 1997.

The annual Clio Awards, held in Miami, honor creative excellence across a range of advertising categories, including TV, print, radio and the Internet, as well as integrated campaigns and innovative media.
