MIAMI The 45th annual Clio Festival kicked off tonight with a Clio Awards Hall of Fame induction honoring spots for British Airways and BMW.

“Global Face,” created by Saatchi & Saatchi in London for British Airways in 1990, and “Mouse,” for the BMW 318i, from TBWA Hunt Lascaris in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1992, were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

“Global Face,” directed by Hugh Hudson (Chariots of Fire), shows aerial views of people dressed in different colors walking across deserts and mountains until they reach the Grand Canyon, where they form a face.
