NEW YORK The Clio Awards has disclosed the first slate of executive jury chairs for the 49th annual show.

Johnny Vulkan, partner at Anomaly, New York, will head up Content and Contact. Tony Granger, CCO, Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, will oversee Television, Cinema and Digital, and Jeremy Craigen, ecd, DDB, London, will handle Print, Poster, Innovative and Integrated.

"They all reflect the strength of the idea, which is the currency of communication," said Tony Gulisano, managing director of the show. The Clios, like Adweek, is a unit of the Nielsen Co.

There will be a total of seven chairs, with the rest yet to be named. The other categories include Design, Technique, Interactive, and Radio.

Gulisano said he expects the winners to reflect what is happening in the advertising industry. "I think it really reflects what's going on in the marketplace. As the marketplace goes, so goes the Clios," he said. "We'll continue to see growth in areas where the industry is going—online, mobile and gaming."

The Clios will be held May 14-17, 2008, in Miami's South Beach, Fla.
