The cable channel known for rock-music videos, among other programming, broke a new TV spot earlier this month that plays–not pans–part of the Russian composer’s most famous works.
The spot, one of three touting Spring Break 2000, this year’s installment of the annual music and entertainment program, shows a woman playing a noisy, dissonant piano piece to the strains of an orchestra, with quick cuts to guys and gals in bathing suits.
