Clarke to Promote Musical Supplies

ATLANTA Clarke Advertising has added the Super-Sensitive Musical String Co. to its client roster without a review, the shop said.

The independent Sarasota, Fla., shop will provide creative, media buying, Web design, collateral and marketing strategy for the family-owned company, which also is based in Sarasota.

The work includes promoting other brands of instrument strings and equipment the company manufactures, such as Black Diamond Strings and Bari Woodwind Supplies. The firm purchased Black Diamond Strings, which produces strings for guitars, banjos, ukuleles and mandolins, in 2001 and Bari Woodwind Supplies, which specializes in synthetic reeds and mouthpieces for woodwind instruments, last year.

Under the Super-Sensitive Musical String Co. brand, which the family has owned since 1967, the company makes strings and accessories for bowed instruments.

Billings were not disclosed.
