SAN FRANCISCO–Telecommuni-cations supplier Sprint has named three finalists in a search for an agency to handle its consolidated interactive account.





The three agencies, selected last week, are: CKS Partners in Cuper-tino, Calif.; Valentine-McCormick-Ligibel in Kansas City, Mo.; and Eagle River Interactive in Avon, Colo., according to sources.





Billings are estimated at $10-15 million.





The client’s roster advertising agencies, J. Walter Thompson in San Francisco and Grey Advertising in New York, were among 16 shops from around the country initially invited to participate in the search, sources said.





Grey did not make the shortlist of six agencies, and JWT was cut in the final round.





Executives at all the agencies and officials at Sprint declined to comment or could not be reached.





Final presentations are slated for the end of July.
