Citron Haligman Bedecarré, a San Francisco agency that rode to prominence during the explosive growth of Silicon Valley, has finalized a deal to become part of a global marketing company.

The partnership is with London-based Internet development and consulting company AKQA; Web-builder and e-commerce applications provider Magnet Interactive in Washington, D.C.; and Asian new-media agency The AdInc. As part of the deal, Citron will assume the AKQA name.
