NEW YORK Church & Dwight is considering at least three media agencies following final pitches this week, according to sources.

Incumbent RJ Palmer, an independent shop in New York, which has held media buying and planning duties since 1997, is defending, sources said.

Also in the mix: Interpublic Group’s Universal McCann, which is pitching in tandem with an entity called Frontier Communications, and WPP Group’s Group M, pitching through Maxus, sources said.

Both UM and Group M have potential conflicts with Church & Dwight.
