China Air Lines has selected Fotouhi Alonso Cameron to handle its U.S. ad account, after a review of Southern California shops. Billings are estimated at $1 million.
The Los Angeles shop prevailed over finalists Muse Cordero Chen in L.A. and LM&A in Playa del Rey, Calif. Incumbent DavisElen in L.A. resigned the account last month.
“We presented a strategy to focus their dollars on the business traveler, not the leisure traveler,” said agency chief executive officer Farida Fotouhi.
A campaign will break in January to promote China Air’s new business class service and additional flights, Fotouhi said.
