DETROIT Chevrolet will launch a new phase of its “An American Revolution” campaign on Aug. 13 during the telecast of the Summer Olympic Games’ opening ceremonies, the company said.

Nine spots will premiere, including “A Boy’s Dream,” a commercial for the new Corvette C6 directed by filmmaker Guy Ritchie. Other new spots include executions for the Malibu, Malibu Maxx, Silverado, Tahoe/Suburban and Aveo models. Also airing will be a preview for the Chevrolet Cobalt.
