General Motors’ Chevrolet division continues to expand efforts to connect with African American consumers through “advertising that is culturally relevant to them,” said Cerves McNeill, senior vice president and associate creative director in charge of diversity marketing in the Chevrolet creative group at Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Warren, Mich.
This year’s advertising in celebration of Kwanzaa, the African American year-end holiday, has been expanded to include a two-page magazine ad in nine national magazines including Jet, Ebony and Essence, as well as a presence on TV.
