Chairman of BigBad Dies at 58

BOSTON Interactive agency BigBad said its chairman, Charles Lard, died on Nov. 24 following a long illness. He was 58.

Lard began his career as an assistant treasurer of United Technologies, where he managed the company’s $4 billion pension fund. Lard also co-founded ALTA Energy, leading it from a startup to an American Stock Exchange listed company.

He was instrumental as both an investor and a member of the board of directors of BigBad, a Boston-based interactive agency, since 1996.
