ATLANTA For the second time in three months, CoyneBeahmShouse has added another partner, the agency said.
Phil Ziesemer, the independent Greensboro, N.C., shop's chief financial officer for the past six months, became a partner this week. He also was elected to the board of directors and will be the shop's treasurer.
Previously, Ziesemer spent 15 years at R.J. Reynolds, where he held various financial positions in marketing, new business development and manufacturing. He holds an MBA degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The name of CBS will not change this time. The agency added the name of Doug Shouse when he became a partner in September. Shouse was vice president of marketing at R.J. Reynolds before joining the shop.
Ziesemer will manage the agency's financial and accounting, information technology and human resources operations.
The changes are in response to the growth at CBS during the past year, said spokesman Tom Barbitta. The shop's number of clients has doubled to 14 since this time last year, Barbitta said. He declined to disclose the agency's total billings.
"We are a company very much in transition trying to reach the next level," Barbitta said.
