Soft-pedaling his ascension to sole leadership of Cramer-Krasselt, Peter Krivkovich stressed continuity and a continued commitment to the agency’s Milwaukee office.
Krivkovich, C-K’s Chicago-based president, has added the title of chief executive officer for the agency from Paul Counsell in Milwaukee, who remains chairman until his retirement in February.
C-K has operated under a two-headed, two-city management scheme for the past 13 years, during which time both offices have experienced solid growth.
“To me, in an industry filled with agencies with no traditions and questionable longevity, where agencies rarely last more than two generations, where partnerships last the length of someone’s huge ego, it’s absolutely unique,” Krivkovich said.
Counsell’s retirement had long been rumored, prompting much speculation among Milwaukee shops as to C-K’s future there.
