Wurzel Tapped as McGregor’s Successor
LOS ANGELES–Campbell-Ewald Advertising last week announced a new executive team in Los Angeles and other changes aimed at revitalizing its West Coast operation.
The L.A. operation has not performed to agency standards, said Tony Hopp, chairman and CEO of the Warren, Mich., agency. “We’re not viewed as a major player,” he said.
To revive the office, the agency has named Debra Samuels Wurzel evp/managing director, replacing Ian McGregor, who left for McCann-Erickson, L.A.,
