LOS ANGELES Chief creative officer Mike Folino has left Interpublic Group's Dailey & Associates, he confirmed.
Folino, whose last day at the agency was June 10, called the split "amicable." CEO Brian Morris has not yet named his successor.
Folino started as CCO at the West Hollywood, Calif., agency in 2002, after a lengthy personnel search. Earlier in his career, he worked at independent Wieden + Kennedy, Publicis Groupe's Fallon and Omnicom Group's TBWA\Chiat\Day.
Folino said his immediate plan was to work on a network television show he co-created.
"I'm proud of the work we did at Dailey," Folino said. "I'm grateful to Cliff [Einstein] and Brian [Morris] for the chance to work on so many great brands. It's a place full of nice and extremely talented people. They are poised for tremendous success."
"Mike has worked tirelessly to make the [agency] reel better and to help build our brands," said Morris in a statement. "We're grateful for all his contributions and wish him well."
