CHICAGO American Dairy Queen Corp. has awarded media duties on its $3.5 million Upper Midwest regional account to Clarity Coverdale Fury after a review of five undisclosed contenders.
The Minneapolis shop takes over the account from MediaCom in New York, which has handled ADQ's national and regional media. The Edina, Minn., company was looking for an agency that understood the Upper Midwest, according to Diane Either, the agency's director of media.
The business involves planning and purchasing media in the Twin Cities and Duluth, Minn.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; Bismarck and Fargo, N.D.; and La Crosse, Eau Claire, Wausau and Madison, Wis.; and all of Montana.
