Sales and marketing executives Gary Casper and Scott Steiner have established a new advertising agency, Casper Steiner.

Both principals previously worked at high-tech company LynkTel and, for nearly a decade, at Houston television station KRIV Channel 26. Most recently, Steiner served as executive vice president of marketing and sales at LynkTel, while Casper held the title of vice president of national sales.

The Casper name is a familiar one in local ad circles: Gary’s father, Art Casper, headed Winius-Brandon Advertising in Houston for many years before selling the agency to (then) Fogarty & Klein.

“I grew up around this [agency business],” Gary Casper told Adweek.
