CHICAGO A.G. Edwards has tapped Carmichael Lynch to handle its advertising account, according to a company representative. Sources familiar with the review said the account is in the $20 million range.

The Minneapolis agency won the account over co-finalist McKinney + Silver, Raleigh, N.C., according to the representative. The review had been narrowed to CL and TBWA\Chiat\Day in late March. But the Playa del Rey, Calif., agency was replaced by McKinney in early April, sources said.
