Carl’s Jr. has launched a campaign for the Six Dollar Burger that takes a swipe at fast-food chains that offer discounted menu items.

Created by Los Angeles agency Mendelsohn/Zien, the new campaign includes four 30-second TV commercials and three radio spots touting “real food for real guys,” said Kathy Kellner-Diaz, group account director at the agency.

Spending for the effort could not be determined. The Anaheim, Calif.-based client spends approximately $50 million annually on advertising.
