Workwear manufacturer Carhartt Inc. has awarded Perich + Partners its estimated $2 million account after a review.

“It’s a brand we’ve had our eye on for a while,” said Ernie Perich, president and creative director at the Ann Arbor, Mich., agency. “It’s one of those great brands that is a category leader. And it’s one of those great products where if you just tell the truth about the product, people will buy it.”

The other finalist in the 113-year-old client’s review was Biggs Gilmore in Kalamazoo, Mich.
