NEW YORK Aegis Group's Carat USA has named Tony Manuelli svp and chief financial officer. He replaces John Kenna, who left Carat in April to join Grey as its worldwide CFO.
Manuelli, 45, comes to Carat from Interpublic Group's Deutsch, where he was svp, finance. At New York-based Deutsch, he oversaw all aspects of financial planning and forecasting, as well as contract management.
Prior to that, Manuelli spent eight years at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he served as assistant treasurer.
"With a solid foundation in finance and a career steeped in advertising, Tony Manuelli will be a tremendous asset to Carat USA as the organization continues to grow and transform its own business operations," said Ray Warren, president of Carat Media Group Americas.
Earlier in his career, Manuelli served in various roles at Martin Marietta Data Systems. He also headed up the finance department of the cellular services company MetroMobile CTS.
