Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing has bolstered its prowess in travel and tourism marketing with a new assignment for the Canadian Tourism Commission.

ISM will create a semiannual magazine intended to attract North American readers to Canadian destinations. The periodical, which has a circulation of 500,000, will be published in English and French. The first issue will debut in February.

Mark Schwilden, CTC’s U.S. mar keting director, cited the Boston shop’s experience in tourism and in developing custom publications as key factors in its selection.
