Collegestudent.com, Merchant Team for Ad, Online Campaigns
DALLAS–Collegestudent.com, an Austin, Texas-based developer of online campus communities, will launch an ad campaign with Target of Minneapolis this fall to draw university students to both the virtual site and the physical store locations.
The deal marks the first time Target Stores has specifically directed online advertising to college students. The projected amount of campaign spending was not disclosed.
Plans for the effort include an interactive contest and promotional events, as well as radio, outdoor and college newspaper advertisements.
