Campbell Mithun is the lone Midwest representative among 10 semifinalists for Hyundai Motor America's $160 million creative account.

Other shops advancing are the incumbent, Bates USA West in Irvine, Calif.; Grey in Los Angeles; Foote, Cone & Belding in Irvine and San Francisco; Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and Publicis & Hal Riney, both in San Francisco; Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore.; Publicis in the West in Seattle; The Richards Group in Dallas; and one undisclosed contender.

Consultancy Select Resources International is leading the review.
