Charlie Calise and Don Sedei, former principals in the defunct Gleason/Calise/Associates, have resurfaced under the name Calise and Sedei.

Calise’s October resignation as partner and chief executive officer of the Addison, Texas, shop triggered a round of resignations that left G/C/A unable to service its accounts. The primarily consumer-based client roster included rent-to-own chain Color-Tyme and cosmetics company Mary Kay.

Sedei’s defection followed two weeks later, and by Christmas, the 15-year-old shop had folded.

Earlier this year, the partners moved into offices on Dallas’ North Tollway, bringing on board a handful of designers and support staff.

“Our location means we’re for real,” said Sedei, executive creative director.
